We are one of the closest hotels to Footbridge Beach at around a 0.4 mi walk or 1 min drive to the parking lot! This picturesque beach is known for its soft, white sand that rivals most national and international beaches. If you’re a toes-in-the-water, butt-in-the-sand kind of beachgoer, we recommend hitting the beach as the tide is going out so that you can experience the warm tide pools that form.

Hooks is a Mexi-Caribbean restaurant & bar with regular live music and BeachFire is a New American bar & grill that features a toasty, outdoor fire pit. If you can handle a walk across the street, you’ll be treated to your choice of either fine dining or casual Italian. Not to brag, but we’re one of the few hotels in town with an indoor, heated pool – perfect for salvaging those beach days that couldn’t be. We, of course, also have an outdoor pool because we understand the need to make your friends jealous with your sultry, new tan. We also are excited to offer fun and whimsical pool floaties for adults, children, and even drink cans!
Trolley to Downtown
Across the street
If you must leave our little corner of paradise, *gasp*, we highly recommend taking the 10 min trolley downtown for shopping and more eating and drinking options. The trolley will pick you up right across the street for the low, low price of a couple of bucks. Don’t forget your cash, and relax knowing that you’ve time traveled back to simpler days. Lawn Games & Grilling
On the property
What’s better after a day at the beach than throwing back a cold one and kicking your friend’s butts at cornhole? You guessed it, absolutely nothing. Ocean Acres sits on 6 acres of land so there’s plenty of room to spread out for games or picnics. While you’re at it, use one of our gas-powered grills, on the house. Dad sneakers not included, but highly recommended.
Wonder Mountain Fun Park

We are just a 2 min drive from Wonder Mountain! This park includes go-karts, mini golf, a human maze, and an arcade. Check their website for their most up-to-date offerings.
Marginal Way
1.9 mi, 6 min drive
Marginal Way is the kind of picturesque walk that people write poems about, and it’s only a short drive or trolley ride away! This gorgeous, seaside stroll features views of the ocean and rocky coastline, charming New England-style homes, benches overlooking the beautiful sights, and informative plaques. It’s only 1.25 mi long and well-paved, but do bring sunscreen and walking shoes as the path doesn’t have much overhead covering and there are some slight inclines and declines. If you’re driving, there are paid parking lots at Perkins Cove and other surrounding areas.
